Bought to have a freezer/fridge in my camper when on road trips. So far it’s awesome! 1 week of use so far and it’s keeping all my frozen food frozen.
We ordered the FC20 to use on our weekend trips and the size is perfect to sit right behind the front seats. It cools quickly. On initial startup it cooled to about 5 degrees cooler than set, then it slowly crept up to within a couple degrees of the 38 degree set temp.
3rd 12volt refrigerator cooler ( different manufacturer) and this one so far this exceeded my expectations. Better built then the high priced coolers. For the value this is a must buy. 3 year warranty piece of mine this the Frig. Seems that it will hold up with quality built materials. Time will tell with this item. For price will be getting another one soon .
I’ll give the PT30 five stars because during the initial tests it has performed as advertised. During a 24 hour test it cooled quickly, got down to the set temps of 0 and 34 and held them, and was energy efficient. Current draw was 24w eco and 33w max. The compressor was on 50-60% of the time although there is some current draw all the time. I like the dual zone. Setting and reading the temps is simple with the controls, but using all the features is easiest with the app.
Construction of the PT30 seems sound. Time will tell. I believe the lid is hollow as it gets cool to the touch and is probably the weak point of insulation qualities. This is common in refrigerators and coolers. I may buy the insulated cover.
One other important thing…the unit is satisfyingly quiet, better than I expected.

I bought the Setpower 58qt PT55 for my camper tailer build and it’s perfect. It cools down to zero fast and maintains temp very well. Efficient power use also.
Perfect for traveling in the car with my wife and dog. My 37 was just a little to big. It will be a great addition to my 37 when I want a freezer or extra cooling.
Customer service is great. Received my cooler today works fine. This is the second set power cooler that I have bought. The other one works great also just a little too big for my car. I previously gave this a bad review but it wasn't set power problem. It was FedEx shipping problem.

Having the fridge/freezer the cover was a must have for me! The fit is really good and it keeps the fridge more out of sight in the back of my 4Runner! I have to say it was a great purchase! Setpower is something everyone should look in to when buying a unit for Overlanding!
I watched a YouTube video where a guy uses the 30L version behind the passenger seat of his Gen2 Prius (2004-2009). Search “Prius fridge” in YouTube. I noticed that the 50L version has all of the same dimensions except it’s taller. So I ordered the 50L and it fits perfectly. It’s quiet and efficient and has done an amazing job on my 2 week long car camping trip. Thanks for a great frig/freezer!
