I never had a portable fridge before, but always wanted one for camping. Saw this deal and gave it a shot. I do not regret it in the least. Solidly packed for shipping! Let it sit for 24 hours before using in case shipper had it upside down. Plugged it in at home for first warm up. Temp said it was 72 F. Set the temp for 37 on both sides and a timer for 1 hour. Came back and it was at the desired temp and running smooth. Took it camping the first night and it ran perfect. Funny story though…the first night I was using it, got a call from SetPower customer care asking how it was. Doesn’t get any better than that!
Just used the new unit on Memorial Day trip and absolutely love it.
Just bought the swtpower pt 45. Great size for 2 people for over a week. Ran a test on a 100ah lithium battery setting outside in 85-90 degree heat and 85%humidity in indiana. Set both sides to 37 degrees and it ran for over 5 days. Let everything sit in the cooler for several hours and the water bottles that were in there were cold. Those will be a game changer for may truck camping adventures.
So far I love this PT45. Perfect size and the Dual zone is great!
I purchased so I could camp for a week. I let it sit for 1 day. I set the larger compartment to 38 and the smaller one to 0. I love the separate lids. Both compartments got to temp with in 3 hours. As of know it seems to be a hood refrigerator. The price was good. So I think it is an excellent value.
