Purchased so I could have a dual zone fridge/ freezer and slide that would fit in the back of a JLU wrangler with the rear seats up. Mounted on a 3/4"plywood deck, this fits the bill very well. Only wish is a replacement lid that did a better job insulating. It's hot in Texas! The insulation jacket does help, but a thicker lid (even as an accessory) would be welcome. All in all, after nearly 1 1/2 years of use, coast-to-coast travel, Cub Scout camping trips, and rock crawling adventures, I have zero regrets on the purchase!

This refrigerator/freezer is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I travel a lot and it's great knowing that I don't have to constantly buy bags of ice on a daily basis to keep food and drinks cold. At $2.50 or more per bag of ice it doesn't take long for this refrigerator/freezer to literally pay for itself. And at 60 Qt's it holds plenty! I also bought a portable battery which makes the refrigerator/freezer completely portable for beach and camping trips. For overnight trips, I plug the battery into my truck and the refrigerator/freezer into the battery. That way the battery charges while driving and then easily powers the refrigerator/freezer all night while the engine is off. I especially like the fact that it can be used as a combination refrigerator/freezer, or one or the other. It's very quiet and reaches set temperatures very quickly. I am definitely happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

Used it for the first time last weekend. Went from 75 to 38 in about 20 minutes. Held temp perfect. Runs very quiet when it kicks on. Uses very little power from the solar.
