Setpower PG216

I purchased the PG216 as a backup to my recently purchased Setpower PT35 fridge. It performs well, but they don’t connect as seamlessly as one would expect. According to Setpower Support, the PH216’s electric signal is somewhat unstable causing 888s to be displayed on the PT35s temp displays when turning it on. I’ve found I have to hold the PG216 power button on for just the correct amount of time for the fridge to connect. Also, the PG216 instruction manual only provides an example for using it with a laptop, and nothing about using it with SetPower products.

Pass through power is not what I thought

If the battery dies while the car is parked, no big deal, I understand that. But when turning the car on I would figure the power would pass through to the fridge immediately without having to wait for a certain percentage of charge to be able to turn on the battery. Tough to do while driving and it’s set up out of reach. Other than that… it does last a good amount of time.

Does the job!

Great deal on this Power Bank! Purchased the AJ40 (which by the way is an awesome mini fridge) Used it twice and it lasted 7hrs in the back of my car. Couldn’t be happier and suggest this to anyone looking for an backup power bank!

Very good product

The unit keeps our Setpower unit cold for at least 12 hours which is long enough that we can leave the unit in the vehicle overnight and items keep cold
